The 10th EMERGEANDSEE Media Arts Fetival is an independent exhibition run by students who feel committed to support filmmakers and media artists and to show their latest work. From March 25th until August 8th 2010, MoMu – Fashion Museum in Antwerp will run the exhibition BLACK – Masters of Black in Fashion and Costume.
The exhibition illustrates the historic phases of the colour black, with examples from painting, historic costume and contemporary fashion by Belgian designers such as Ann Demeulemeester, Olivier Theyskens and Dirk Van Saene as well as the international couture houses of Givenchy, Chanel and Gareth Pugh.

Four years ago, Dr. Lou Robbins found a mug shot and started collecting original images from the dark side of the food world. He found bartenders, cooks, and waiters who had been pushed over the edge and were accused of murder, theft, pimping and pandering, and drunken and disorderly conduct.
Now he presents his collection for the first time to the public in his show “Food Industry Mug Shots 1899-1954”, which opens Friday at Rabelais Books in Portland, Maine. Via

Joe Peacock has been collecting Akira cells and production art since he was 14 years old and has now collaborated with ToonSeum to launch an exhibition series, starting in April 2010.

Odyssey Two, showing at Münzstr. 19, Berlin from September 24 – 27th runs throughout Art Forum Berlin and brings together 20 years of Futura’s work. New pieces will be on display alongside key works such as the original iconic Pointman canvas and a collection of early Pointman sketches.
