On April 26, 1986, reactor number four at the Chernobyl nuclear power facility exploded. The largest civil nuclear disaster in history (so far) led to mass evacuations, and long-term health, agricultural, and economic distress. The nearby city of Pripyat has been abandoned, and a 19-mile radius “exclusion zone” established where radiation contamination makes continued habitation dangerous.

Lucy is a young university student who takes a job as a Sleeping Beauty. In the Sleeping Beauty Chamber old men seek an erotic experience that requires Lucy’s absolute submission. This unsettling task starts to bleed into Lucy’s daily life and she develops an increasing need to know what happens to her when she is asleep.
When Jonathan Harris turned 30, he began a simple ritual of taking one photo a day and posting it to his website before going to sleep, along with a short story. This is a short film about Jonathan’s project “Today”, made a few weeks after he stopped it after 440 days, by his friend, Scott Thrift. Via
