Red Riding is the television adaptation of English author David Peace‘s ‘Red Riding Quartet’. Set against a backdrop of serial murders, including the Yorkshire Ripper case, they deal with multi-layered corruption and feature several recurring characters across three films. A modern British film noir, absolutely stunning. “It’s grim up north.”

Kai and Marcel’s website combines music, photography and written words into a personal and informing travelogue about Icelandic music in 2010 – a story of a trip of two friends to an island up north, armed with camera and notebook. Very well executed. Via
