The Soviet Story is a first time documentary film telling the story of the Soviet regime, how the Soviet Union helped Nazi Germany instigate the Holocaust and at the same time slaughtered its own people on an industrial scale: 23 million from 1932-39 through purges and initiated famines in the Ukraine.

A planned prequel to the classic Planet of the Apes will begin production in Canada this July. Mammoth Studios has opened production offices for the movie in Burnaby, BC, with filming expected to begin this summer. The movie, written and directed by Ruper Wyatt, will center on “a hyper-intelligent chimp raised by humans that incites a worldwide ape revolution and causes the downfall of mankind”.
